about

This live set was pretty much an all improvised, drone/noise type set we recorded on a Zoom R16 recorder live at Islington Mill, Salford for the 24 hour drone stage that was curated by Basilica Hudson and Le Guess Who for Fat Out Festival in 2017.

It was the organisers idea to include our solo projects into our time slot which was quite challenging but really fun.

I seem to remember the mic on the guitar kept moving away from the cab and i had to keep putting it back during the set so the guitar keeps dipping in an out, something (i think it was my laptop) falls over at some point which results in a lead being ripped out of the recorder near the start of the Svntreader part so be warned that the signal was a bit hot. Although very raw, it feels right to make this available as a one off. Since we have it recorded, why not?

We are currently still working on being a band again and getting our next release sorted. Sorry that it is taking so long but we will be back, patience is a virtue.

about

The Death of Money UK

Formed in south Wales during 2004 and have been taking audiences, and themselves, on some beautifully heavy aural journeys ever since.

Their sound still stands approximately in the ballpark of doom and sludge metal, albeit with a lightness of touch and the audible influence of post-rock, shoegaze and ambient music.

Enjoy, bliss out, peace, party. X
